சசிகலா ஜனவரி 27ஆம் தேதி விடுவிக்கப்படுவார் என்று ஏற்கனவே தகவல் பெறும் உரிமை சட்டத்தின் கீழ் கர்நாடக சிறைத்துறை அறிவித்துள்ளது. ஊழல் தடுப்பு சட்டத்தின் கீழ் தண்டனை பெற்றவர்களுக்கு சலுகை வழங்குவதில் எந்த தடையும் இல்லை.

ஏற்கனவே ஊழல் தடுப்பு சட்டத்தின் கீழ் சிறையில் இருந்தவர்களுக்கு கர்நாடக மாநில சிறைத்துறை சலுகை வழங்கியது குறித்தும் ஆதாரங்களை தாக்கல் செய்துள்ளோம். எனவே சசிகலாவிற்கு சலுகைகள் வழங்க கோரியுள்ளோம். நல்ல முடிவாக இருக்கும் என்று நம்புகிறோம் என சசிகலாவின் வக்கீல் நம்பிக்கை தெரிவித்திருந்தார்.
ஆனால் சொத்துக்குவிப்பு வழக்கில் சிறையிலுள்ள சசிகலாவுக்கு விடுதலையில் சிறப்பு சலுகை இல்லை என கர்நாடக உள்துறை அமைச்சர் திட்டவட்டமாக தெரிவித்துள்ளார். இந்நிலையில் சசிகலாவிற்கு விடுதலை சலுகைகள் மறுக்கப்படுவது ஏன் என அடுத்த கேள்வி எழுந்துள்ளது.
ஊழல் தடுப்பு சட்டத்தின் கீழ் சிறையில் இருந்தவர்களுக்கு கர்நாடக மாநில சிறைத்துறை சலுகை வழங்கிய நிலையில் வாய்ப்புகள் இருந்தும் சசிகலாவிற்கு சலுகைகள் வழங்கப்படாது என திட்டவட்டமாக கூறப்படுவதற்கான காரணம் என்னவென்றும் சந்தேகங்கள் எழுந்துள்ளது.
